Welcome to the home page of Trumpeter's Song Ministries. It is my sincere desire that as you browse through the pages of this site, you will be encouraged and enlightened by all that God is doing in Africa to bring hope to the hopeless and eternal life to the lost.
We are ministering on a continent where poverty, disease and desolation is the standard way of life, and where long held cultural beliefs separate most people from the grace & love of the Cross of Christ, even many who profess to be Christians.
Our ministry focus is to help the people of Africa to overcome these natural and spiritual hindrances and to do so by God's grace, guidance and resources.
We are presently based in Calabar, Nigeria which is in West Africa. It is the most populated country on the continent with over 140 million people living in a land area only twice the size of California. In comparison, America’s population is about 300 million, only a little more than twice that of Nigeria, but with enormous amounts of space for living and productivity.
Our work in Africa is operated under New Life Foundation for the Needy in Africa (NLFNA), a Nigerian Corporation set up by my pastor, Jeff Ward and myself. NLFNA is recognized as an official Nigerian Non-Government Organization (NGO), which allows us to operate as a non-profit organization in Nigeria, just as we do here in the states under New Life Family Church.
